Terms of service

The agreement between you and TapInfo, in plain English.

These terms are between you and Company legal name, company number Company number. If you’re buying as a consumer, nothing here affects your statutory rights.

The service

TapInfo gives you a persistent professional identity (your TapID), physical and digital credentials that open it, and tools to record introductions. Capabilities and their status are listed on What’s live.

Your account

Keep your sign-in secure and your details accurate. You’re responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.

Cards and tags

Cards and tags are made to order. Custom designs are printed after you approve a proof. If a card or tag doesn’t read, we replace it. Cancellation and returns are covered in our returns policy.

Your content

You own your profile and notes. You give us permission to store and display them as needed to run TapInfo. Don’t publish anything unlawful or that you don’t have the right to share.

Organisations

If your organisation issued your card, it controls that card and the work profile it manages, and its agreement with us also applies. Your personal profile fields and private notes remain yours.

Acceptable use

Don’t use TapInfo to impersonate anyone, send spam, collect people’s data without their knowledge, or interfere with the service. Security research is welcome under our disclosure policy.

Availability

We aim for the availability targets in the Trust Centre but can’t promise the service will never be interrupted. If we ever stop offering TapInfo, we’ll give at least 90 days’ notice and a way to export your data.

Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and we’ll tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
